This dwelling is perched on a corner of the wild east coast town of Castlepoint and only a five-minute stroll to the beach. The compact and elevated site required clever multi-level design. The home was to be a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the Wellington CBD, with a separate lodge for Airbnb guests, which culminated in a design that takes full advantage of the beautiful seascape.
